Official Release from Tokyo 2026: Performance Video with Audio Feedback by Jury Chairman Kenichi Soki – Now Featuring the Pre-Request System
The “Performance Video with Real-Time Audio Feedback by Jury Chairman Kenichi Soki” will be officially launched as a new service starting from Tokyo 2026.
With this release, we are introducing a new Pre-Request System designed to become a true tailwind for your growth.
This initiative transforms the Wind Ballet Concours from a place of evaluation into a unique learning experience—where dancers can reflect deeply on their challenges and gain new momentum through the perspective of Jury Chairman Soki.
We hope the “wind” you capture here will carry you forward and enhance the quality of your daily training.
■ Direct Answers to Your Personal Challenges
With this service, you can now specify in advance the areas of your performance where you would like detailed evaluation and feedback.
Whether it is a habit you understand but cannot correct, or a technique your teacher has pointed out but remains difficult to master, please feel free to share your concerns and goals.
While reviewing your performance video, Jury Chairman Kenichi Soki will provide precise explanations and real-time audio feedback based on your request.
■ Available for All Divisions (A, B, and C)
This service is available to participants of all divisions.
From first-time competitors to dancers aiming for international stages, personalized feedback will be provided according to each dancer’s level and goals—helping you build momentum toward your next step.
■ Examples of Pre-Request Entries
When applying, you may include specific concerns or goals as shown below.
*The examples below are for reference only. Please consult with your instructor before filling out your request.
[Example 1: Technical Improvement]
“My axis tends to shift backward after pirouettes, making my landing unstable. Although I try to maintain lift, I feel my en dehors weakens in the later manège. I would appreciate focused feedback on where my alignment breaks down.”
[Example 2: Artistic Expression]
“I will perform a variation from Giselle. I tend to focus too much on technique and struggle to express the character’s epaulement and delicate atmosphere. I would like detailed feedback on my upper body movement and head positioning.”
[Example 3: Musicality & Overall Presentation]
“My movement tends to rush ahead of the music, making my dancing appear small. I would like advice on how to use musical phrasing more effectively and improve transitions through better breath timing.”
[Example 4: Preparing for International Competitions]
“I aim to study abroad and compete internationally. I would like an evaluation from an international perspective on whether my footwork and precision meet global standards, as well as feedback on unnecessary movements in my preparation.”
■ Package & Pricing
This service is offered as a set including video and photo materials, allowing dancers to review their performance from multiple perspectives.
